Giulia Lanaro x Wixii

Wixii's own editorial images formed the basis of a cherished collaboration with Italian image researcher Giulia Lanaro @giulialanaro_ Giulia used the images to inspire a visual narrative.
The series of images she carefully selected are a reflection of her deep love of history architecture and fashion and form an expression of our brand from her view point.
The image sharing and visual storytelling of this collaboration has connected our two distant worlds through the love of visual imagery.  We asked Giulia to share with us what inspires her.

Tell us about your work as an image historian and researcher?

I've always had a great imagination and I've always daydreamed. My father often told me I lived in a castle in the clouds :)
I love giving shape to the stories I have in my mind through images in place of telling them through words.
I also work as an archivist, researching fashion, art, and architecture images, my favourite part of my work is to create mood boards and content which I have enjoyed doing in this collaboration with Wixii.

How does nature inspire you and your work?

I've always lived in contact with nature, in the countryside, and now I feel like I need it.
I take a walk every day to clear my mind and breathe in the fresh air.

When do you feel at your creative best?

After a good trip visiting cities, architecture and art. That is stimulating for me.
